Febraury 28, 2017: PhD, Saarland

The research group on Free Probability and Quantum Groups at Saarland University
(Saarbrücken, Germany) is offering two PhD positions at the intersections of computer
algebra, free probability and quantum groups. The positions will start in spring/early
summer 2017 with a duration of three to four years. They will be funded by the
collaborative research center SFB/TRR 195 – Symbolic Tools in Mathematics and
their Application formed by research groups at RWTH Aachen, TU Kaiserslautern
and Saarland University. The PhD positions come with no teaching duties. German
language skills are welcome but not obligatory (can be acquired during the stay in Germany).
